Privacy policy

TenUp is a browser game. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no server that holds your data. This page explains the little that is stored and the one third party that may be involved.

What is stored on your device

The game keeps its state in your browser's local storage so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off. That is:

• the board you are playing, your level and your score;
• your best score;
• whether sound is on or off;
• whether you chose the light or dark theme.

This never leaves your device and is not sent anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data for TenUp deletes all of it, and the game starts fresh.

What is not collected

• No account, name, email address or phone number.
• No location.
• No contacts, photos or files.
• No analytics or tracking of how you play.

Advertising

The game may offer an optional short video advert in exchange for extra hints. Watching is always your choice — the game is fully playable without it, and nothing is withheld if you decline.

When adverts are enabled they are served by Google through AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure adverts, and in some regions to personalise them. TenUp itself does not receive any personal information from this.

You can control this directly with Google:

• My Ad Center — manage or turn off personalised advertising on your Google account.
• How Google uses advertising cookies.
• Google's privacy policy.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for your consent choices before personalised adverts are shown, and you can change those choices at any time.

Children

TenUp is a general audience puzzle and is not directed at children under 13. No information is knowingly collected from children.

Offline use

The game installs as a web app and stores its own files on your device so it works without a connection. Those files are the game itself — no personal data is included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
